Hi Jessica - thanks for reaching out! Bees don't need you to have a huge yard. They need a decent amount of sunlight, so you'll need a place for the hive that isn't in the shade all day. I like to think of them like a tomato plant that needs 6-8 hours of sun. 🙂 Our backyard is not large, it's a small area with 2 patches of grass and a fountain. The sun has been our biggest struggle as there are some large trees that cast quite a bit of shade. Get them some sun, plant some flowers and some veggies for them, and they'll be happy.

Just wondering if its doable?
